EARLY ADMISSION FOR GRADE 12 STUDENTS

Atlantic Gateway College offers motivated high school students the unique opportunity to begin planning their post-secondary journey before graduation. Students currently enrolled in Grade 12 are eligible to apply for conditional acceptance, allowing them to secure a place in their chosen program in advance of completing high school.

To qualify for conditional acceptance, Grade 12 applicants must:

Be on track to successfully complete their high school diploma.

Successfully complete all required Atlantic Gateway College (AGC) courses assigned during their final year of high school.

A personal statement or essay

Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable)

Participation in an interview (if required by the program)

It’s important to note that conditional acceptance does not guarantee full admission. Students will only receive full acceptance once they have:

  • Officially graduated from high school, and
  • Met all AGC course completion and admission requirements.

If a student does not meet these conditions, they will not be permitted to continue into their degree program until all outstanding requirements are fulfilled. This pathway is designed to encourage early engagement, academic responsibility, and a smooth transition into college/university life. Our admissions team is here to guide students through the process and support them every step of the way.
